Cookies

Cookies.

cyberlisten.com sets a language cookie and a cookie that stores the choice on this notice. It does not set an advertising cookie.

Effective 25 September 2026. Read this with the privacy notice. Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law covers personal data in these cookies. The Kingdom does not have a separate cookie statute. We still ask before anything that is not required for the site to work.

What is stored

  • cl_lang

    Necessary

Remembers English, Arabic, or French, so the next visit opens in that language.

    12 months

  • cl_consent

    Necessary

Stores the cookie choice, whether measurement was allowed, and the time of the choice.

    12 months

01Why these are necessary

The language cookie is how the site follows the language of the phone when we publish that language, and how it keeps the language you pick by hand. English is the default when we do not publish the phone’s language.

The consent cookie is how we remember not to ask on every page, and how we keep a measurement tool off if you refused it. We do not load a measurement tool today, so refusing it and accepting it load the same pages.

02What we do not set

No advertising cookie. No social plug-in. No third-party measurement cookie. If that changes, the notice will name the new cookie before it is set, and it will stay off until you allow it.

A server log kept by the host — IP address, time, and page — is not a cookie. It is described in the privacy notice.

03Changing your mind

Use Cookie settings in the footer. Necessary only leaves measurement off. Accept all records that you allow measurement, and still loads nothing extra today.

You can also delete the cookies in the browser. The next visit will ask again, and the language will follow the phone until you choose.

04The law that applies

Personal data in these cookies is handled under the Personal Data Protection Law, Royal Decree No. M/19 dated 9/2/1443H, as amended by Royal Decree No. M/148 dated 5/9/1444H, and the Implementing Regulations. The competent authority is SDAIA.

The basis for the two necessary cookies is that the site cannot open in the chosen language, or honor the choice, without them. We do not use them to identify you for advertising.
