Investigation and intelligence analysis.

InvestiGATE Pro is a controlled intelligence environment. It is not a search engine, and it is not a database. It turns distributed information into reviewed investigative context for analysts, investigators and decision-makers.

01

What the platform is for

The work is one environment, not a stack of unrelated tools. Authorised material is brought in, reviewed, and held so that an investigator can see the case rather than the feed it came from.

Open, internal, commercial and technical sources can be read together, in Arabic and English. Incoming material is normalised, enriched and connected across entities, events, locations and the case that already exists. Automated checks and a designated validator review a finding before it is treated as reliable.

The interface is built around the people who use it: analysts, investigators and decision-makers. It can run on the customer’s own infrastructure, or in a dedicated hosted environment where policy allows. Investigative and classified material stays under the customer’s control.

02

What analysts work with

The same material can be read as a graph, a table, a map or a timeline. Search covers full text and structured fields in Arabic and English. A case holds the notes, tags, bookmarks and hypotheses, so the reasoning stays with the evidence.

  • Case workspaces, with role-based sharing and more than one person on the same case.
  • Watchlists and monitoring rules, with alerts ordered by severity.
  • Geocoding, geofencing, routes and areas on the map.
  • Reports as PDF, DOCX, HTML or CSV, including an image of the graph.
  • APIs for the customer’s case and records systems.

03

The analysis it supports

Analysis is structured. It is not a set of isolated searches, and it is not an opaque score. The platform can resolve entities across names, aliases and scripts; map networks of people, organisations and accounts; and compare events across time, location, communications, devices, finance and cyber infrastructure.

  • Temporal and behavioural patterns, movement and route reconstruction, and proximity.
  • Communications metadata, where the customer has the authority to use it.
  • Financial and virtual-asset tracing.
  • Cyber infrastructure, including dark-web material the customer is authorised to collect.
  • Watchlist and indicator matching, anomaly and risk scoring, and alerting.
  • Association of vehicles, people and objects, including authorised number-plate correlation.
  • Facial-match candidates, only where matching is authorised.
  • Cross-case linkage, evidential packaging, and document digitisation, OCR and translation.

04

Decision support, not an identification

A result is a lead until a person authorised to review it says otherwise. The platform does not confirm an identity, determine guilt or authorise an enforcement action.

  • A facial-match candidate is not a confirmed identity.
  • A number-plate match does not show who was driving.
  • A device near an event does not prove that a person took part.
  • A relationship between two entities does not prove a criminal association.
  • An anomaly does not prove unlawful conduct.
  • An automated summary is not a verified fact.

05

Evidence, kept apart from the rest

InvestiGATE Pro does not treat every data point as evidence, every system match as an identification, or every analytical result as fact. Detection creates a lead. Corroboration develops intelligence. Provenance and lawful handling are what support evidence.

Six categories stay separate: source material, as received; evidence, preserved with integrity and continuity; derived data, from extraction, digitisation, translation, normalisation or enrichment; investigative leads, which still need examination; intelligence, assessed and stated with a confidence; and findings, reviewed by an authorised analyst or validator.

The original is never overwritten. A preserved source keeps its hash. Processing works on a copy, and every material transformation is recorded. The analytical layer holds associations, timelines, patterns and hypotheses. Validated intelligence is the layer where a designated person checks the support, records the limits and assigns confidence.

  • Each significant item keeps a unique identifier, the related case, and the lawful authority and scope.
  • The record names the originating system, the acquisition time and time zone, the collector, and the method and tool version.
  • Hashes, custody history, processing records, classification, dissemination limits, and retention and disposal stay with the item.
  • The test of a record is simple: where it came from, who handled it, what changed, and how its integrity is checked.

06

How an assessment is built

The method is all-source and written down. It starts from the question, not from the tool. Confidence, gaps and competing explanations are part of the product of the work.

  • Define the question: a person, organisation, event, threat, device, transaction, or an operational question.
  • Assess the source: access, reliability, recency, completeness, bias, motivation, technical limits, and exposure to deception.
  • Prepare the data: normalise formats, resolve time zones, remove duplication, and keep every record linked to its source.
  • Resolve entities: whether different names, numbers, devices, accounts, vehicles, addresses or online identities are one entity.
  • Correlate across identity, time, location, communications, devices, finance, cyber infrastructure, cases and known events.
  • Test competing explanations, including innocent or contradictory ones.
  • Assign confidence, and record gaps, assumptions, contradictions and what still has to be collected.

07

Classified and confidential sources

Open-source findings are most useful next to what the organisation already knows. Those holdings are connected through a policy-enforced gate. They are referenced, not copied into the platform. The customer’s classification rules and need-to-know apply, not a rule invented by the software.

Access to classified material, communications or personal information remains subject to the customer’s lawful mandate, warrants, approvals and compartment rules. Integrate what is authorised. Process what is relevant. Expose only what each user is permitted to see.

  • Classification labels travel with every source, record and derived item.
  • Access to the platform does not grant access to every source, case or compartment.
  • Each query records who asked, for what, under which case and authority, and what was returned.
  • Highly sensitive actions, exports and cross-compartment correlation can require dual approval.
  • Results can be referenced against the source so the full dataset is not moved.
  • Teams and operations stay segregated, and export and dissemination are controlled.
  • Sources that can be discussed, where authority exists, include departmental systems and registries, case and records systems, classified repositories, authorised telecommunications and network data, financial and virtual-asset sources, border and travel systems, commercial feeds, cyber and breach feeds, geospatial sources, forensic outputs, authorised video matching, and partner feeds.
